My Story...

Welcome! My name is Jillyan Schmidt. I am a newly established in-home bakery that focuses solely on gluten free baking. This has been a journey for my family over the past 6 years since my youngest son was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Since his diagnosis I have made an effort to try and make sure he does not feel left out or excluded when it comes to the things he can eat. I wanted him to be able to still enjoy the things he could eat. In the beginning of this journey we went through trying numerous different brands and types of gluten free food and typically it always ended the same way...take one bite, realize it was not a good taste or texture and be out a crazy amount of money. After a while I started experimenting with different flours and recipes and was able to make things that not only my son with Celiac would eat but that my other two children also loved and couldn't tell a difference. It has been my greatest joy to be able to do something I love for the people I love but now to also be able to share it with you and your family.
